Another problem with free web providers is that by signing up, most of the time you will not be able to host your own full domain name, but will most likely end up with a sub-domain. If you're looking to do business with your website, it may not appear very professional to your visitors - they might just end up being turned off by the apparent lack of seriousness and professionalism as they will know outright that you aren't paying for the services. So, before jumping at the first available offer that comes your way packaged as a free web hosting plan, weigh your options to know if what you stand to gain in cost-saving is worth what you stand to lose in reputation, leads and sales.
